Freestyle libre 2 a lot of problem

Hello everyone....

The sensor thing is starting to bother me...

The continuous reading fails every now and then and I have to go through it to know what I have...

I call them and they tell me that it is because of the installed applications that use Bluetooth.

I uninstall them and the problems continue....

Does it happen to anyone?

What cell phone do you have?Lately I have had quite a few problems with the sensors but what you say has never happened to me.I get a sensor error sometimes, but not a connection error.

Samsung Galaxy S24 5G.

It indicates that the sensor needs to be scanned, an alarm error and it doesn't stop... all of a sudden it works fine again... but it doesn't stop failing every day 3 or 4 times... even more

How strange, I have a Samsung A54 5G and it has never happened to me.I assume that you already have the freestyle App configured correctly, that it does not optimize the battery, nor turn it off when not in use.

Let's see if there is any other user who has passed it and comments something.

Very good

I have already had this happen to me twice, the readings work perfectly but the connection is lost.In both cases at the moment I have fixed it by uninstalling the application and reinstalling it.It's a hassle but better than having to change it and request a replacement.

Greetings to everyone

I think I commented in another thread that I had a streak where 4 in a row failed, which either didn't work or failed within the first 48 hours, and I've been using my Pixel 8 Pro since it came out on the market.

Now I have updated it to Android 17 and I have no problems at the moment.

It's true, I didn't remember, when I installed programs that interfered with the sensor's Bluetooth, I only fixed it by uninstalling and reinstalling the freestyle App, yes, the entire history of the App is lost.

You talk to Freestyle Libre and they tell you that some sensors are not right...

Look, you can go to the......

It is quite complicated to live without a pancreas with type 3 diabetes and with the sensor causing problems

I've had the same phone for 6 years, and the sensors have only given me problems in the last year. The problem is going to be the mobile, of course...

They told me to buy a new phone 2 years ago, I went from a Samsung A54 to a Samsung S24 and the problems with the freestyle libre 2 sensor continue.

I spoke with the Endocrinologist and we talked about moving to Descom, but I don't know what to do... honestly.

As you can see in the upper left corner there is an exclamation mark... there is no continuous reading.A PM.

The problems you mention are all for the same thing.Check the Android version of your operating system, and if the phone runs on Android 16, that's where the problem lies. The abbot luminaries have not yet updated their application to version 16, and it gives a lot of Bluetooth connectivity problems. The problem does not come from the sensors, but from LibreLink, the android application. If you have iOS you do not have this problem, and if your Android version is older (15, 14 or 13), the sensor also works as usual.

After several annoyances with abbott's customer service and with my endocrine, because they are not very interested in switching me to dexcom, and after several weeks of stress with the consequent disruption in glucose, I have found a solution usingJugglucoas an app to read sensor measurements instead of the abbott app.Since then everything has been going smoothly, although I have to say that juggluco has a bit of a high learning curve: it takes you a while to get the hang of it.And also the interface is a bit clunky, but wow, everything works and you can sleep peacefully.

I hope this information is useful to those of you who continue to suffer from Abbott sensors.

We should push for the management of the hospitals that provide us with Abbott sensors to take notice and cancel their contracts with this company. The health of many people is being put at risk.

Cheer up everyone.
