Hello everyone.I am another one with type 1 diabetes. Since the SS finances the sensors I have been using the Freestyle. Now I use the Freestyle 2 plus, reading the readings with the mobile app.

The fact is that for about a year now, sensor failures have become more and more frequent. It is now common that, every time I change it, one or two fail and do not start, with continuous messages to wait 10 minutes until the message to replace the sensor comes out.

It has also happened to me that, after two or three days of use, the message to replace it appears.

I'm starting to get fed up with Freestyle. It's true that they replace it because of its problems, but I don't trust anything anymore. The bad thing is that, if I'm not mistaken, the other financed model only lasts 10 days.

Are Freestyle sensors getting worse every time?Does it happen to anyone else?

Hello, AVSB.In my case I have also seen that the Freestyle Libre 2 Plus sometimes causes quite a few problems. For example, I have to change it relatively frequently for my grandmother and sometimes the readings take longer than expected; Many times the message "wait 10 minutes" appears and it ends up taking much longer.

Out of curiosity, do you put it in the recommended area on the back of your arm?I leave you an image with the correct position because sometimes placement can influence.
